The Marques Colston – Dauphin County CYS College Fund was established in 2007 to provide financial assistance to youth of the Dauphin county Social Services for Children and Youth who are committed to continuing their education in an accredited college or career training program. These funds will provide youth with financial assistance in the form of stipends, gift cards, and checks to support youth with essential resources needed to complete their post high school educational studies, increase their motivation for achieving goals and completing tasks, provide a positive reward for accomplishment, and encourage the establishment of positive independence in society.

Youth must be 18 years of age to 23 years of age and have received Independent Living Aftercare Services via Dauphin County Social Services for Children and Youth. In addition, students must be actively enrolled full-time in an accredited institution of post secondary education, maintain a 2.5 grade point average, and complete a minimum of 40 hours of community service annually.
